We started Emergency Hero for the average British Homeowner

A home emergency doesn't wait for a convenient moment. It happens on a Sunday night, in the middle of winter, when you've got no idea who to call and no way of knowing whether whoever turns up is any good.

That was the problem we kept seeing. Homeowners left scrambling through Google, taking a chance on whoever answered the phone, with no transparency on price and no guarantee of quality.

Emergency Hero is, at its core, a technology business

We don't employ engineers. We don't own vans. We don't carry tools. What we've built is the infrastructure that makes the right connection happen at the right moment: the platform, the processes and the network.

However, our customers don't experience a platform. They experience a person turning up at their door, solving a stressful problem, and leaving them feeling like everything's going to be okay. That's what we're actually in the business of delivering.

This shapes how we hire, how we treat our engineer network, and how we measure success.

Our Brand Values

Response times matter. Conversion rates matter, but so does whether a family in a flooded kitchen felt looked after.

Reliability

We've built our entire operation around dependability, from engineer vetting to response times to transparent pricing.

Integrity

We hold ourselves and our network to the same standard we'd expect our customers to, every time with no excuses.

Supporting Local Tradespeople

At Emergency Hero, we don’t just help customers in need, we support skilled local tradespeople rather than competing with them.

We work with a trusted network of independent plumbers, electricians, and gas engineers from all over the UK. Instead of sending in overpriced corporate contractors, we connect you with real, local professionals who live and work in your community.

When you book through us you’re helping to keep independent businesses busy and earning; you’re supporting families and local economies rather than large national chains; and in return, you’re matched with experienced tradespeople who care about their reputation and their customers.
